The Night Before the Exams

Rome, 1989. High school senior Luca gets in trouble when, on the last day of school, he takes it all out on hated literature teacher Martinelli, only to discover that he'll be on the examination board for his upcoming finals. During a summer of fruitless study, he falls in love with a girl he met at a party, knowing nothing but her name—and most certainly not that her father is none other than Martinelli, whom, strangely enough, has just offered Luca to prepare with him. This unlikely cooperation will teach both of them valuable life lessons.
